You Could have expected it.
Actually they don't. It is a common misconception. Prices here went down about 0.7 cents/L for the long weekend, although they were up slightly during the week to drop again this weekend, for Sept 10.

Don't Top Off Your Gas Tank!
I don't know of any fuel pumps around here that have a "vapor recovery" line. This must be a U.S. thing as is the EPA. However, cars have a vapour recovery line and overfilling (and spilling) could foul it.
The pump clicks off at full on my newer car. However, on my old Ford Escort the pump would s...

Changing order of displayed prices
I suppose we members should take it upon ourselves to purify the station lists. However it may cause conflicts among members who like the stations listed a certain way. I think the moderator mentioned he preferred street address and cross-street if available. However the only way to update a station...

Updating prices
I agree with beans4gas. In Toronto the prices generally change in lockstep at midnight but I remember a few years ago we had daily price wars whereby prices would change every few hours. But I know in some locales like Niagara the prices can change in the middle of the day.
Unfortunately the price...

Splitting Big Cities
There is a potential problem in splitting up Toronto. The areas "East End, North End, West End" must be defined, or eliminated. They are covered by or overlap "Scarborough, North York, East York and Etobicoke". These are old borough names which technically ceased to exist after the 1999 amalgamation...

Splitting Big Cities
I like it!
But now I have to clean up many of my stations that currently appear in "Toronto - Downtown" and re-establish them as "Etobicoke".
Don't be alarmed to see a whole wave of "deletes".
I am also looking forward to some type of "edit stations" feature so I can add cross-streets to my fav...

I like what you did with Vancouver and the link to the regional Vancouver prices. Could you do the same for the "Greater Toronto Area" (or GTA as we call it locally). Then we can work on cleaning up duplicate stations. It would be nice to have a "station edit" feature which I mentioned in another po...
